About us

Our first market stall on London’s King’s Road sold out in under two hours. Today our wholesale bread, cakes and pastries are sold in over 600 stores nationwide.

Our story

The Galeta story started in 2011, with a market stall stacked high with home baked cookies. We’ve grown a little since then but our values have never changed.

Creating in our Hackney home, we still use only the freshest natural ingredients and only bake the treats we love the most.

Proud to be named East London’s Baking Heroes by The Independent, we’ve won multiple Great Taste Awards for many of our creations.

All of our wholesale products are handcrafted and baked fresh each morning using 100% natural ingredients.

We partner only with suppliers who share our values, like Wildfarmed, to create real baked goods made with real care.

The ingredients we source are grown using sustainable methods, such as regenerative farming. We actively promote biodiversity and work to minimise our environmental impact.
