Frequently Asked Questions

Do you bake your cakes from scratch?

Yes, we bake all our cakes specifically for each order using only the highest quality natural ingredients. We bake each one using free-range eggs and fresh ingredients, with not a packet mix or additive in sight, and we never freeze our cakes.

Do you sell birthday cakes?

You can turn any of our Personalised Cakes into a Birthday Cake. Choose to include a personal message when selecting your cake and we’ll hand pipe the message onto the frosting. There are a selection of cakes available, so there's sure to be a flavour to suit any occasion.

Do you deliver cakes?

Yes, we do deliver cakes to addresses within inner London. Due to the fragile nature of the cakes, we are currently unable to offer nationwide delivery.  We do provide next day delivery, if you order before our 12pm cut-off time. Please be aware that we don’t send out any items on Saturdays or Sundays.

How do I order a cake?

Here you can add a message to be written on the cake. Add to your basket and checkout.  Don’t forget that you can also send a message card with your cake, by including a message card, and adding it to your basket during checkout. After entering the recipient’s details you can choose to either collect your cake from a Galeta market stall or have it delivered by one of our dedicated drivers.

Can I freeze my cakes?

If you do happen to have leftovers then you can freeze your cake. It should last around two to three months in the freezer, after that you may notice some drying due to freezing. You should wrap your cake in a few layers of cling film, or place into a suitable freezer bag
