Our Service

At Galeta we try to make sure that nothing is too much trouble. We will always try our absolute best to help where we can. We want to give you a fantastic service and for you to be really happy with us. But if you’ve sent or received a Galeta pressie and you’re not over the moon about the experience, please pop us an email straight away. Our address is info@galeta.co.uk. We’ll do our very best to get back to you within 24 hours, and we’ll do everything we can to put things right for you.

Payment

We take payment when you place your order, rather than at the time of dispatch. This is to help avoid any last-minute hitches that might delay your delivery. We’re not able to accept an order until we’ve checked and approved it, and if there is a problem we’ll be in touch within 24 hours. We run special offers from time to time and these are to be used independently, not in combination.

Dispatch

For next day delivery we will need to receive your order before 12pm (UK Standard Time). If we get your order after 12pm, we’ll send it out the following day. If for any reason we’re not able to do this we’ll get in touch with you by email to offer you a different product, a later delivery date, or, if you’d prefer: a refund. Please note that as our office is closed on Saturday and Sunday, for weekend collections we will need to order before 12pm on Friday. 

Returns Policy

Returns are only accepted for goods which arrived damaged or are sent in error. If you find your order damaged or you have received the wrong product please contact us immediately. Depending on the condition we will offer to re-send the items or exchange them. Any refund will be issued entirely at our discretion. As our products are perishable goods we do not offer refunds in any other circumstances.

London Markets - Click and Collect

If you choose to Click and Collect we will take your order to the selected market on the day of your choice. Please be sure to check the hours of the market when ordering as the order will only be available to collect between these hours. If you are having problems getting to the market you selected, give us a call in the office and we will do our best to help out, but we cannot offer a refund on orders that are placed but not collected at the agreed time.

UK Delivery

Due to the fragile nature of our whole cakes, loaves and cronuts, we cannot deliver these products outside of the London delivery area.

Our deliveries are handled by the APC network, unfortunately we’re not able to take responsibility for any delays on their part. But if there are any problems, we’ll do our best to let you know as soon as we can. 

Inner London Delivery

As we're based in central London we can deliver to you if your address is in our London delivery area. So, if your order is received before 12pm (UK Standard Time),we can get your order to you the following day.Please note that as our office is closed on Saturday and Sunday, for weekend collections we will need to order before 12pm on Friday. 

Rest of UK Delivery

We use a courier to get your orders to you if you live outside of London. Our service delivers to mainland UK from Tuesday to Friday. So, if you place an order for delivery before 12pm between Monday and Wednesday we can deliver it the second working day from when you order. If we receive your order before 12pm on a Thursday or a Friday it will be delivered the following Tuesday.

If you’d like a Saturday or Sunday delivery please contact the office on 020 8123 0894 and we'll do our very best to help out.

Unfortunately there are a few places our courier isn’t able to deliver to. They are: Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Scilly Isles, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, Scottish Highlands and Isle of Wight. Again, if you're looking to order from these places, give us a call in the office and we will try our absolute best to help out.

Overseas Delivery

Unfortunately due to the delicacy of our products, we are unable to deliver outside of the UK. Please contact the office on 020 8123 0894 if you have any queries. 

Personal messages

We reserve the right not to send a message that may contain offensive and/or inappropriate content. We will normally write your message onto a chocolate plaque that will be placed on the whole cakes. If you have any special requests or personal messages that you would like included with any of our other products, please call us on 020 8123 0894, or email us at info@galeta.co.uk and we will do our best to help.
